Philip McLachlan - Freelance photographer, photojournalist
Philip has worked as a professional photojournalist and photographer for eight years. He is a graduate of Loyalist College's School of Photojournalism.
He specializes in both journalistic and corporate portraiture, drone work, 360 imagery, and EPK (electronic press kit) work in the film industry.
Past clients include Reuters, AFP, IndigiNews, The Discourse, PHSA, Teck Coal Ltd., University of Victoria, more.
He is a multi-time national award nominee and winner in the categories of photojournalism, community reporting and news coverage in the Canadian Online Publishing Awards, the Jack Webster Awards, and the Canadian Community Newspaper Awards. His recent work has touched on the topics of Indigenous rights, LGBTQ2+, and environmental disasters.
His is driven by his passion for storytelling.
